We could not be prouder to host the launch for our friend and frequent event emcee Annie McCann's debut middle grade novel, My Harimau King.
Annie will be joined in conversation by Jeremy Lachlan, author of the Jane Doe Chronicles (Jane Doe and the God of All Hours is coming this September) about her writing journey, the Indonesian folklore that inspired her tale and the importance of representation.

We are so excited to share Seth Haddon's traditionally published SF debut, Volatile Memory, a story of identity, love and revenge against a dystopian capitalist future.
As a novella, the prose is tight, conveying a vivid picture with no wasted words, combining fast pace with emotional weight. While unapologetically queer, the characterisation transcends its labels, and Wylla and Sable become accessible and relatable in their exploration of the relationships between identity, autonomy, the body and perceptions of others.
Seth will be answering questions about Volatile Memory, its themes and origins, and what it's like for a fantasy author to switch to SF.
Bring your questions and your books for Seth to sign. We will also have his books available for purchase on the day.
IN CONVERSATION • Moving Sh*t Through Space
International SFF star Jackson Ford (The Girl Who Could Move Sh*t With her Mind) aka Rob Boffard (Tracer) is visiting Sydney in September and sitting down with Jeremy Szal (Stormblood) to nerd out on space opera, telekinesis, cyberpunk, fire-breathing lizards and the power of a good title.
Jackson is making the shift to gritty, action-packed fantasy with The Bone Raiders, due August, and Jeremy will share some exciting news on Wolfskin, third in his Common Saga.
Bring your questions and your books for our authors. We will also have their books available for purchase on the day.
